I’m a clinical Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Herbal Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a member of the British Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC).
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and completed a four-year Master’s program at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC, where I gained just under 3,000 hours of didactic study in the realm of both Chinese and Western Biomedicine, in addition to over 900 hours of clinical experience. I studied under the renowned physician and 88th-generation Daoist priest, Jeffrey Yuen, who is dedicated to making Classical Chinese medicine accessible in the modern world.
I believe that true healing occurs when both practitioner and patient are committed to the same goal. I expect my patients to be actively engaged in their path to health, as there is no quick fix. My goal is to be a supportive partner in your healthcare and wellness journey.
